Tina practices predominantly in personal injury and medical negligence matters.
Tina’s passion and interest in law stems from years working in the legal industry. Having worked with clients on sensitive matters, Tina is skilled at assisting clients to navigate the legal system in a respectful and supportive manner.
Tina’s expertise is in tort and medical law, complemented by her academic research in this field. Tina has completed a PhD exploring contemporary challenges in litigation and mediation of medical negligence and mental harm claims, and she has a particular interest in personal injury claims (including psychiatric harm) and compensation systems.
Tina’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has contributed to texts on tort law and medical law. Tina regularly presents her work at national and international academic conferences and has had visiting fellowships in medical law at international universities.
Outside of practice Tina maintains a position as a legal academic at RMIT University’s Graduate School of Business & Law. In her spare time, Tina enjoys fitness, travel and creative writing. .
In 2020, Tina was awarded Legal Academic of the year by Lawyers Weekly.
